Below are photo instructions for checking for an internal leak on an M58 steam wand and replacing the rubber seat that seals the steam assembly. This is useful if an M58's steam wand is consistently dripping water or releasing steam when the machine is fully heated. Before attempting this repair we recommend unplugging the machine and allowing it to fully cool off. Tools required:
- 2x Adjustable wrenches
Reassemble steam arm and test for leaks as the machine reheats. Steam wand fittings may need to be tightened multiple times to create complete seals.
