Below you will find instructions on how to tighten the steam arm on a LUCCA M58. This issue can happen on any machine with a similar style ball joint steam arm. You will need the steam arm to be cooled down for this, we recommend turning the machine off and allowing it to cool down fully before doing this procedure.
Tools Needed:
- 9mm wrench
1. A loose steam arm will look like this, the steam wand itself will be loose or perhaps even disconnected from the ball joint in the steam arm valve.
2. Use a 9mm wrench to hold the ball joint in place on the flat spots provided. Hold the steam arm with your hand and tighten the ball joint with the wrench by turning the wrench from right to left.
3. Ensure the steam wand is secure and sealed.
