Below you will find instructions for cleaning the fill solenoid on the A53.
Tools Needed:
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Adjustable Wrench x2
1. Remove the panels of the machine. You can follow along with our guide here: A53 Panel Removal
2. Remove the nut holding the solenoid body in place.
3. Remove the solenoid shaft. You may need to use a second adjustable wrench to hold the valve still so you don't bend the copper connecting tube (shown in the second photo below).
4. Check to be sure the black rubber seat is clean as well as the inside of the valve itself.
